How do I get to college?

Great question—no need to get lost on your way to class! Here are your road-tested options for getting to the College of West Anglia:

1. Public Transport:
All four campuses are well-serviced by local bus routes, and King’s Lynn campus is a short stroll from the train station (perfect for those who like to get their steps in before studying). You can use our Transport Calculator to find the best and cheapest route based on your location and course. It’s like having your own personal travel agent, minus the fancy suit!

2. Special Support:
If you need extra support (for example, you have special educational needs), there are tailored transport options, including specialist services and potential financial coverage for travel—just make sure to check eligibility.

3. Shuttle Bus (Cambridge Campus):
If you’re a Norfolk-based student coming to Cambridge, there’s a Free Shuttle Bus from Waterbeach station each college day.

4. Car or Bicycle:
Limited parking is available by permit, depending on how far you live from college. Each campus also has secure bicycle shelters, so you can wheel in with confidence.

5. Financial Support:
If your household income is below £45,000 per year, you could get a big chunk (or even all) of your travel costs covered through our financial support scheme.

Start with the Transport Calculator to plan your trip and see what options and discounts might be available for you. Bon voyage on your academic adventure!
