# Can I get financial support for travel and college supplies?

Absolutely! You don’t have to go on a financial scavenger hunt—CWA offers support for both travel and college supplies if you’re eligible. Here’s how it works:

**Travel Support**
If your household income is less than £45,000 per year, you may be eligible for our financial support scheme, which can cover the full cost of a single subsidised bus or train pass. If you drive, you might get a contribution towards petrol costs, paid into your bank account (based on mileage and attendance).

**College Supplies**
The scheme can also help with costs for uniform, kit, and equipment. Once you’ve purchased your required items and have been awarded financial support, you can provide a receipt and get reimbursed in the first term. If you’ve already been awarded support, sometimes the college can order supplies for you directly (depends on the course).

**How to Apply**
You can find more details and complete an application through the [financial help and support page](https://cwa.ac.uk/student-life-and-support/information-for-applicants/financial-help).

It’s all about making sure you have the essentials, so you can focus on learning—not earning (at least not yet!).
