Can I get financial support for travel and college supplies?

Absolutely! You don’t have to go on a financial scavenger hunt—CWA offers support for both travel and college supplies if you’re eligible. Here’s how it works:

Travel Support
If your household income is less than £45,000 per year, you may be eligible for our financial support scheme, which can cover the full cost of a single subsidised bus or train pass. If you drive, you might get a contribution towards petrol costs, paid into your bank account (based on mileage and attendance).

College Supplies
The scheme can also help with costs for uniform, kit, and equipment. Once you’ve purchased your required items and have been awarded financial support, you can provide a receipt and get reimbursed in the first term. If you’ve already been awarded support, sometimes the college can order supplies for you directly (depends on the course).
